Biography
Cassidy Perez is a California-licensed attorney specializing in Family Law at Butler Law, PC. Ms. Perez brings a strong foundation in family law advocacy, built on her experience serving underrepresented communities and her commitment to guiding clients through the emotional complexities of family legal matters.
Prior to joining Butler Law, PC, Ms. Perez served as Staff Attorney for the University of San Diego Women's Legal Clinic, where she provided pro bono family law representation to individuals in need. Her work at the clinic deepened her understanding of the emotional and legal challenges families face, and solidified her dedication to compassionate, results-driven advocacy.
Ms. Perez is the first in her family to pursue higher education, earning both a Bachelor's Degree and a Juris Doctor. She graduated early from Notre Dame de Namur University with dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and English. She then attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where she competed on the Mock Trial team and advanced to national competitions, honing her litigation skills and mastery of the rules of evidence. She routinely received perfect scores during the mock trial competitions.
Immediately following law school, Ms. Perez began practicing family law, advocating for individuals navigating divorce, custody, support, and other family legal matters. Her blend of academic achievement, trial experience, and client-centered practice makes her a trusted advocate for families throughout California.
