Sophia Carlson

Biography

Sophia Carlson serves as the Legal Support & Community Engagement Liaison at
Buter Law, PC, where she provides essential administrative support to attorneys and
paralegals and fosters strong connections with external partners to ensure seamless
communication. She also leads the firm’s social media, marketing, and community
outreach efforts, helping to strengthen its presence and impact.

Sophia graduated summa cum laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor
of Arts in Political Science and double minors in Business Administration and
Economics. During her academic career, she was an active member of the pre-law
fraternity Phi Alpha Delta and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s most
prestigious academic honors society.

Her passion for the legal field began during an internship with the Oregon Department
of Justice Child Advocacy Section, where she supported attorneys in sensitive cases
and gained a deep understanding of confidentiality and client care. She later contributed
to the University of San Diego School of Law, assisting the admissions team with
outreach, alumni relations, and event coordination.

Sophia is passionate about advocacy and community service, volunteering regularly at
her local food bank. Outside of work, you’ll likely find her planning her next adventure,
soaking up the outdoors, or curating the perfect playlist.
