Biography

Veronica Rubalcava is a paralegal at Butler Law, PC. Her interest in the legal field began when she was in high school. She was inspired to be an agent of social change through her community service work in her hometown of San Jose, CA., and by her mentor, Superior Court Judge LaDoris H. Cordell (Ret.)

Ms. Rubalcava, who is fluent in Spanish, was the first in her family to attend college. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Law, and a minor in Education Studies. While an undergraduate at UC San Diego, Ms. Rubalcava interned for the Family Law Facilitator Office in downtown San Diego where she completed over 300 hours of service helping litigants complete forms for domestic violence restraining orders, dissolution of marriage, child support, and child custody and visitation.

Ms. Rubalcava earned a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from National University. Thereafter, she was awarded an ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate with honors from the University of San Diego School of Law.
